RLI Personal Umbrella Policy

Arlington/Roe & Co. is the program administrator for the R LI Personal Umbrella. All business applications for the Personal Umbrella should be forwarded to Jennifer Hopper. All new business applications must be submitted to Arlington/Roe & Co. Please print completed fillable application and mail with a check for the full premium to Arlington/Roe & Co.

RLI’s Stand Alone Personal Umbrella Policy covers your client’s assets by providing up to $5 million in coverage above and beyond the insured’s underlying homeowners and automobile policies. This personal umbrella is the perfect solution for difficult-to-place personal lines accounts. The application is self-underwriting, so you’ll know immediately after completing it whether or not your insured qualifies.

RLI is introducing a new application that will be MANDATORY in all states due to the underwriting changes incorporated into the program. These underwriting changes are:

    1. Risks having a driver over 69 are no longer eligible for the Standard II rating tier.
    2. Underlying automobile limits of 100/300 are no longer an available option for risks having a driver over 69.
    3. Drivers over the age of 79 cannot have more than 1 incident with the last 3 years.

RLI Home Business Insurance

The RLI At Home Business Policy provides affordable coverage for those people who operate small home-based businesses. Insureds often believe their existing homeowners or apartment-dwellers policy will cover any loss or damage to their business equipment, furniture, and supplies in the event of fire, theft or other catastrophes, when in fact, those policies usually explicitly exclude coverage for any business exposures on their premises.

This product is not intended for all types of at-home business. It is specifically targeted for over 100 retail and services risks operated from the insured’s residence and presenting minimal product liability, professional liability and/or off-premises exposures. Professional liability is excluded and requires a separate policy.
