Dear Big I MN Members,
Fall is one of my favorite seasons—and I suspect many of you feel the same. It offers a welcome break from the heat and humidity, a chance to enjoy the vibrant seasonal colors, and an opportunity to reset and refocus for the remainder of the year.
Each autumn, the Big I MN staff steps away from the office for a few days to reflect on the past year and plan for the next. This dedicated time together strengthens our team’s synergy, which ultimately enhances the value we deliver to our members.
We’re thrilled to share that our second annual LeadHership Summit was a tremendous success, selling out once again. Planning is already underway for next year’s event, and we’re equally excited about the progress being made on InsurCon (formerly EXPO). Our team is working hard to ensure it’s a meaningful and engaging experience for all who attend. Be sure to save the date for InsurCon at Mystic Lake on April 29-30, 2026!
One of our proudest achievements this year has been the increase in membership visits. These interactions have allowed us to better inform and support both new and long-time members about the many benefits Big I MN offers. We’re also excited about the launch of our new Education Committee, which held its first successful meeting in October. This group will play a vital role in shaping future programming and ensuring our educational offerings meet the evolving needs of independent agents.
Advocacy remains a cornerstone of our mission. With the continued efforts of our lobbyist, Robyn Rowen, and our legislative committee, we’re well-positioned to champion the interests of independent insurance agents across Minnesota. One way you can support our lobbying efforts is by joining us at our PAC cornhole fundraiser on November 19th at Smash Park in Roseville.
