Public Relations Campaign:
Big I MN continues its statewide campaign promoting independent insurance agents as the best choice for Minnesota consumers. Members are encouraged to share customer success stories, which are being compiled into a video resource that all members can use to showcase the value of the independent agency channel. 

Membership & Dues Renewal:
As agencies prepare for the upcoming dues renewal season, Big I MN thanked members for submitting census information and emphasized the importance of continued membership and engagement in strengthening the association and industry. 

PAC Drawing Winner Announced:
Angie Fuechtmann of Nesbit Agencies was selected as the winner of the InsurPAC and MIIA PAC fundraising drawing and directed a $500 charitable donation to Ivy’s Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit supporting families affected by congenital heart conditions. The association also highlighted the role PAC contributions play in maintaining access to policymakers and advocating for the insurance industry. 

Industry & Advocacy Updates

State & National Marketplace Reports Available:
Members can access updated State and National Marketplace Reports, providing valuable data and insights to support agency planning and business decisions. 

Advocacy Efforts:
Big I MN reinforced the importance of industry advocacy at both the state and national levels, noting that PAC support helps ensure lawmakers receive expert input on issues affecting independent agents and their clients. 

Member Benefits

Kaplan Partnership & Pre-Licensing Education:
Big I Minnesota announced upcoming in-person Property & Casualty pre-licensing classes through its partnership with Kaplan. Classes are scheduled for October 2026 and April 2027, helping agencies train and develop new insurance professionals. 

LeadHERship Registration Open:
Registration is now open for the 2026 LeadHERship event, providing opportunities for professional development, networking, and leadership growth within the industry. 

New Member Programming:
The newsletter highlights ongoing efforts to enhance the member experience through dedicated programming and resources designed to help agencies maximize the value of their membership. InsurAcademy is a new agent training program the Big I MN has recently launched.
