Big I MN Members,
I’m extremely happy to report that our annual meeting and EXPO were highly successful! The attendance at both of our morning sessions, the Hard Market Panel and the Artificial Intelligence and Agents, were record breaking. The staff and board of directors were delighted that we could provide valuable information to you all during these presentations. Our keynote speaker, Lance Allred, was also a huge hit with his message of perseverance in the face of multiple obstacles placed before him. The inspiration that he provided will be felt for quite some time. The 2024 award winners were honored with a video compilation, and we congratulate all of them for their accomplishments. We ended with a fabulous showing at our sold-out EXPO that included our Power in Partner affiliate members and exhibitors mingling and networking with our agency members. Thank you all for your support in this endeavor!
The week after our big EXPO event was spent talking with our respective legislators on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. Big I MN was represented by agents from throughout the state, explaining the importance of keeping the tax credit for pass-through entities, addressing lawsuit abuse and mitigation efforts to assist in the hard market crisis, and continued support for the Federal Crop Insurance Program and National Flood Insurance Program. Remember, you can help by contributing to InsurPac and MIIA PAC which gives us a stronger voice nationally and in St. Paul.
